Barry Baldwin was born in Manila, Philippines, in 1949 and attended the American School there through ninth grade. He graduated from The Lawrenceville School in 1967. He received a B.S. in chemistry from Seton Hall University in 1973 and his M.B.A. from Arizona State University (ASU) in 1975. At ASU, he also received his master’s degree in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Barry started his career with Survey & Marketing Services in Honolulu in 1975. In 1977, he relocated to Stamford with Olin Chemicals on international business development and continued with Mobil Oil and Cresap, McCormick & Paget doing management consulting in the energy industry for oil and gas companies and utilities. Barry and his wife Vicki of 39 years live in Darien and have three children and one grandchild. He belongs to the Darien Boat Club, the Tokeneke Club and the Darien RTM.
