Arthur Baron was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1951 and grew up on Long Island. He graduated from Binghamton University with an M.S. in Computer Science and has a B.S. in Physics. Art began his business career with Singer Aerospace in 1975 in software engineering where he developed real-time solutions for aircraft simulation. He joined IBM in 1978 in systems engineering in New York City. He then worked as a business development executive in White Plains and developed alliances with the major global systems integrators. In 2010, he joined Rackspace Hosting in San Antonio as a partner development executive in cloud hosting. From 2010 to the present, he has been doing business development consulting. He has also provided mentoring services to startups through Connecticut Innovations, and coaching at NFTE. Art and his wife Virginia live in Darien. They have two children both living in New York and four grandchildren. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing pickleball and golf. Sponsored by Bryan Hooper
