About:

Stamford Hospital. Volunteering at Stamford Hospital

Stamford Hospital is a 305-bed, not-for-profit community teaching hospital provides area residents with access to the latest technology using a compassionate, patient-centered approach and is a major teaching affiliate of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Together with its physicians, the Hospital provides a broad range of high-quality health and wellness services focused on the needs of our communities.

How you can contribute:

The Hospital has 650 volunteers who in 2018 accumulated 78,000 hours of volunteer time. There are many opportunities for volunteers either at the main hospital or the Tully Center. Alex Garnett happens to work in the ER on Mondays from 9-4 and has done so for 8 years.
The contact at the Volunteer office is Courtney Stupak at cstupak2@stamfordhealth.org
