Tom Robinson was born 1948 in Norwalk, Conn., and graduated from Brian McMahon high school in 1966. At Norwalk Community College he received a degree in engineering in 1971 and a degree in science in 1972. He also received a degree in marketing from Pace University in 1976. He remains active at Norwalk Community College where he is alumni coordinator and a mathematics tutor. He also is enrolled in the mathematics master’s program at Southern Connecticut University.
Robinson’s career in industrial engineering included work at the Kanthal Corporation, Bethel, Conn., that makes electric heat-
ing elements and the Chester Jensen Company, Philadelphia, Penn., that makes refrigeration components for food and dairy
processing. He also had his own business as a consultant and distributor of cooling equipment for computers.
Robinson is a scout master for Boy Scout Troop 2, Rowayton, Conn. He also is a bee keeper, a member of the Rowayton Historical Society, the Norwalk Radio Club and the United Church of Rowayton. He and his wife, Caroline, have three children.
